Actually, make it 28: I forgot to use Secretariat's corrected (as of 2012) Preakness time of 1:53.0, which would add six more lengths.

That's some shirt isn't it? Arguably (well, in my book, inarguably) the most dominating athletic performance of my lifetime.

It's 35 years since Affirmed-Alydar, still the most exciting thing I've seen (in person) in sports. You could actually feel the grandstand heave as they came around the far turn and into the stretch; simply unforgettable.
