Currently reading Martin Baron's new book. Your post above reminds of last night's chapters about Felicia Sonmez and Wes Lowery.
Got the feeling Baron wanted to blow his brains out. Fortunately, he got out.
 
As usual, the critics have no suggestion as to who may be more worthy.
 
I don't know who "Tyler" Swift is, but that "Taylor" Swift is pretty cute.
 
As for person of the year - I would have gone with AI. Played a role in the various labor actions this year, major concerns within science, medicine and education and the arts - and journalism. Probably involved in the wars in the Middle East as well.
