True, but the ACC has a history of producing weird champs. heck, Wake Forest has found its way into NY6 bowls in the past. There is no behemoth in the ACC like Alabama in the SEC or Ohio State in the B1G. Clemson isn't miles ahead of the field, nor is FSU. With the unbalanced schedules, there's an argument to be made that anyone* can win the ACC in a given year.

*Except UVA.

Which is why I could honestly argue the ACC is the most interesting conference. Pitt and Wake played for the ACC title in 2021, three years removed from Clemson winning a National title. Georgia Tech, BC, and Virginia have all played in the ACC title game. "Yeah but NIL." Hey cool, how much did that money dump help Miami this year, who has bought Mario Cristobal all of the toys only to have him be Mario Cristobal?
