Did you nerds watch 'Legion' last night?
I recorded it, but was unable to watch. Going to check it out tonight.

I watched. I'll give it another shot, but so far it is just a whole lot of weird.

I'm not saying a series about the character shouldn't be weird. It almost has to be. The character has pretty much always been mentally ill in the comics. Sometimes he has it more together than others, but he is always a mess. That said, eventually all the questioning of what is real and what is not gets old.

(Sorry if that heads into spoiler territory. David Haller (Legion) has been around in the comics for decades. He was the cause of a couple of major X-Men events, particularly the Age of Apocalypse. So David being nuts isn't news.)

It's cool. no spoiler for me. Legion didn't exist when I read comics, but I know he's supposed to be mentally ill and delusional.
Pretty well telegraphed in the series marketing over the past few months, too.

Yes, it was. The first episode definitely lived up to the expectations set by the commercials, with just a hint of the character's power.

I enjoyed it. I don't really grasp where it fits into the xmen universe? Are mutants not a public thing at this point? It seems a bit off that he, his parents or sister never suspected he was a mutant rather than schizophrenic.

I believe his both a mutant and mentally ill. That is how I perceived what we saw in the pilot, though perhaps I am carrying my knowledge of the character in the comics into the show.

I don't know how well the series will hold up, but I really enjoyed the premier.
That was good.

Not even honking about continuity with the movies. Just taking it on its own.
And hoping the series can live up to that first episode.
Really, really liked it.

Marvel releases a video about Infinity War as the movie starts shooting. Interesting bit to me was to see Tom Holland. There had been some talk of leaving Spider-Man out of the movie.

Interesting to me was Russo saying "these next two Avengers films will be an event like nobody has ever seen before." Is Infinity War being broken up into two films?

WRT Tom Holland, I can't imagine anyone hearing his normal voice and thinking, "Hmm, I bet he'd be great as Peter Parker!" Holy heck. Based on Civil War and the trailers for Homecoming, I think he'll be pretty damn good, but yikes, I guess that's why some casting directors are better than others.

It was originally Infinity War Part I and Part II. They announced they were going to change the title on the second one, but clearly the stories will tie together.
