Strange New Worlds is episodic this season and it took a moment to adjust from what is now the norm.

This week they dropped an episode early with a crossover with Lower Decks. It was fun and cute. The ending was a nice touch.

I heard the crossover was coming, though I haven't started the new season yet. I keep meaning to watch Lower Decks. I just haven't gotten to it yet.

Lower Decks is very much worth the watch. It doesn't take itself or the whole Trek canon seriously. Really fun.

That is what I've heard. I've seen bits and pieces on YouTube, including some of the appearances by Will Riker and the Miles O'Brien statue.
