And don't call me Mormon

Your experience must be much different than the rest of us, because I'm not sure of anyone who confuses the two.

I don't think people confuse the two.

I think people have a hard time knowing the distinctions are. They just know they're different.

I think that most people realize that members of the LDS do not consider Pope Francis their spiritual leader.

"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' special underwear" just doesn't roll off the tongue like "The Mormon's special underwear."

vicd, did you ever see the Mormon episode of South Park?

And I was going to share the awesome story of how I got out of teaching Sunday School while I lived in Utah, but since vicd kind of disrespected my beliefs, I'll defer.

Ah yes, the typical playbook when it comes to anything Mormon. So far we have cracks about Joseph Smith and the "special underwear," and have used "The Book of Mormon" and "South Park" as reference points.

All we need are a few polygamy jokes, something about not drinking Coke and a picture of someone wearing a white shirt and a tie and we'll pretty much have all the bases covered! :)

I have all those, but I'm working on a pregame show segment. Can one of my wives get back to you?
