Players have seemed to appreciate those giving up $10k or the like in contests, but I can't see Jen's giving up $250k getting her any benefit down the road. Though you're right Mizzou, she does seem to be getting some traction after being at the top of everyone's sh*t list for a few weeks. If she can somehow STFU for a while and let the other housemates work on each other, she may just get to the final few if not the final two. But then she'll be playing for half the grand prize??? She'll never admit it, but if she lasts late in the game that move is going to bother her. It has to.

I was watching Tuesday's episode and apparently my DVR didn't record the last seven minutes. The last thing I saw was Jenn looking at the wall of pictures, talking about her power of veto.
WHAT THE heck HAPPENED?
I'm assuming she used it and Danielle put my man Eric up. Did Eric make a big speech about how Danielle and deck are completely screwed?

Oh, and I can't wait to see Jenn naked in playboy.

Damn. Playboy Enterprises must be good and healthy to write those kinds of checks.

Agree, Jen is all about the me-me-me. But she's crazy to think that Big Brother 8 compares to Survivor for notoriety. Who knows for sure if there's real money out there afterward, so why compromise the guaranteed winner's pool?

But again, nice job CBS for screwing with players' minds this way. Next week: buy an extra vote for $50,000 off your winnings! On slop for the next month? Buy a care package of real food for $12,500! They could chop it down so far that the winner leaves with $6,700 and a dinette set like an episode of TPIR.

That's a good point... The $500K prize is pretty low by gameshow standards... heck, that Drew Carey show gave away a million the other night... The fifth grader show seems to give away $500K every night it's on... For a show they're milking three hours of primetime shows a week out of, it's ridiculously low...

Yes, they should be giving away much more. This show digs into the personal lives of people in a way that Survivor doesn't. Yet Survivor gives away a million.

I'd love to see side-by-side closeups of Christine Donato and Danielle. For reasons that aren't quite clear, I'd like to see Jeanie Buss thrown in as well.

And deck needs to win HOH or he's gone next.

I couldn't believe the difficulty of POV either ... usually, BB has those "cut your hair" type of POVs much later in the season, when those contestants can "taste" the money.

I was impressed by Jen's willingness to give up $250K. I would have been curious to see if she would have shaved her head, but as mentioned, it almost has to be a few weeks from now when people are willing to do just about anything to save themselves.

Jen impressed me, too. She could be hard to beat, if, like Janelle, she keeps winning key competitions. She could at least stick around awhile.

I'm afraid, though, that Eric could get very, very screwed by that banner and wind up back-doored - not even making the jury. I had wanted him to at least make the jury so America could choose his "who wins" vote
