The control panel on my nine-month-old Samsung electric oven started acting squirrely every so often, so I called for service. They said they would send me two parts, then come fix it. I got one part and the service call was then canceled. WTF?
Turns out, they can't get the other part. So they're going to give me my money back on the oven. About a thousand dollars. And they've never even looked at it. Also, it has performed flawlessly since I called for service.
I'll keep the money and the oven until it really goes bad. I would feel wrong taking the money, but they're essentially canceling my warranty, so if it goes out, I need a new oven.
