College football week 11 thread: The Green, Green Wave of Home

Since losing to Clemson, FSU has won three in a row, outscoring the teams 124-22. Jordan Travis has 753 yards passing, nine TD passes and two TDs scored. All of a sudden, that FSU-Florida game looks entertaining,
Well, maybe. ... But maybe not if you're Florida.

Yeah, but if TCU gets through, they by god earned it.
100% correct.
Not even the SEC's acolytes on CBS will be able to deny the Frogs on that.
(We will soon be hearing all the machinations that could land Trump's favorite league two or even three bids.)

Tennessee is sitting pretty, for sure, just waiting to slide into the No. 4 spot after the Michigan-Ohio State game.
And I'm still not convinced Alabama isn't lurking down there, waiting to weasel their way in. It would take a lot — TCU and USC losing; Georgia beating LSU; probably a one-sided game either way between Ohio State and Michigan; and probably one other upset (Tennessee stubbing its toe next week at South Carolina, the Ohio State-Michigan winner losing in the Big Ten title game) — but I can see a path for them to be sitting there at No. 5 or 6 heading into championship weekend after beating the shirt out of a terrible Auburn team as a "statement win," and then getting their ESPN lackeys to start touting their two last-play losses and history to sneak them in.

Chip went for it on 4th-and-6 from his own 36 with just under six minutes left, down three, two timeouts left.

Arizona gets two first downs and kicks a field goal that forces UCLA to go the length of the field in 65 seconds. It didn't.

Arizona 34, UCLA 28 (F)

Jayden de Laura has been a great pickup for Arizona. He's totally outplayed the $80K and a truck Incarnate Word transfer WSU brought in that led to de Laura's transfer. Arizona's got a shot at a low-ranked bowl if it wins out, a nice season for a program that was an absolute dumpster fire under Sumlin.

Arizona and UConn are nice little rebound stories.

deLaura might play Sundays.

I didn't like deLaura because it looked like he had to throw it as hard as he could on every pass. That leads to stray throws, lack of accuracy. He is proving me wrong.
The guy at Washington State isn't that bad, either.

Pac 12 shot itself last night, but I'm not sure it'll matter. Tennessee's getting in over any Pac 12 team even before this weekend. Vols will have two wins over Top-12 or even Top-10 teams in Alabama and LSU. Nobody's matching that.
