DC Comics to make prominent hero gay - who will it be?

Here's the thing with Green Lantern: There have been several men from Earth who have worn the ring. In the link that Piotr posted, Scott Snyder, a DC writer, said it's someone who hasn't been seen since the reboot. Have they introduced all the former Earth Green Lanterns?

I'm going with Plastic Man and withholding any comment about how his powers could be handy for him if that were the case.

Though, when you look at his costume, would it be a surprise?

Rainbow Raider?

Wow, what a supervillain origin:

As a child, Roy G. Bivolo always dreamed of a career as an artist, a lofty goal considering he was completely colorblind. He would often paint what he thought were beautiful pieces of art, only to be told that it was made up of clashing colors. His father, an optometrist and genius in optical technology, swore he would find a cure for his son's disorder. Due to failing health, he was unable to complete his product, but instead created a sophisticated pair of goggles that would allow Roy to create beams of solid rainbow-colored light. On his death-bed, his father presents him with this gift, and it wasn't long before Roy found a sinister use for it.

Turning to crime because the world didn't appreciate his art, Roy, now the Rainbow Raider, went on a crime spree focused mostly on art galleries, saying that if he couldn't appreciate the great works of art in them (due to his disability), no one else would. During this time he often clashes with the Flash, and sparks a rivalry that would last several years. Some years later he would fight Booster Gold as well.

It's going to be the original Green Lantern, who always had a weakness for wood (true story).

He's not exactly iconic, but I was reading the latest issue of "The Flash" last week and it seems like they're going to make the Pied Piper gay as well.
For those that don't know him, Pied Piper is a Flash villain (and sometimes ally -- ironically, he swings both ways) who uses music to get people to do his bidding. He's been a fairly prominent recurring character in that part of the DC Universe, but wouldn't register with the mainstream audiences.

Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) considers the dangers of Kryptonian jailbait:

If that's true, it's a mashive copout.

"We're gonna do this controversial thing with a character who has been around a long time!!!!! But the later incarnations of this character are much more well-known, and this guy hasn't exactly been a prominent part of our universe in a long time!!!!!

But buy it anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONTROVERSY!!!!!!!!!!!! HISTORIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Anyway, bow down to my lucky dart throw shot in the dark guess great prognostication ability!

I'll say Green Lantern. Prominent enough to have a movie, but could use the boost in sales.

Cue the "My Power Ring cannot affect anything Yellow!" jokes.

And Alan Scott's not even a "real" Green Lantern. His powers work a little differently than the others, and he's always been a step removed from the main GL mythos.
