Week 1 College Football Thread: Seven Years of College Station Down the Drain

I liked it. Better than San Berdoo, which had a lot of shipty areas.

Well, yeah, when making that comparison, sure. It's been 25 years since I lived there. It was fine for what it is and the surrounding areas, but I certainly don't miss it. All of my family except a brother still lives out in that area now, but he'll be gone in a couple of years.
 
I'm amazed more wasn't made of the fact they stayed an extra day in Dublin to sightsee. Isn't that the sort of thing you knock out at the start of the trip?

Wow, seriously? That's stunning. Even if you want to make the argument that they could still take the extra day and have a full week of prep before the Monday nighter. Plus who's in the mood after a loss?
 
I am surprised nobody has come up with a Big10 knock off of the SEC shorts.

I'm gonna guess they never thought losing was a possibility when they put together the itinerary
