ESPN + Fox Sports + Warner Bros

I have Hulu Live and like it. Regarding sports coverage, it basically delivers everything I need and much I seldom look at. I have to think that whatever this new package is will replace ESPN+ in that lineup. If not, I'll be looking, but I'd be astonished if that isn't worked out at the corporate level.

My understanding is that it will be doing away with blackout restrictions, which should have been done away with like two decades ago
Am I missing something, or does MLB just shoot itself in the foot with blackouts?

Once YoutubeTV got rid of SNY, that was my last straw. Switched to DirecTV streaming so I could get that plus A&E (for the First 48 only - the rest of that channel is trash), NESN and MLB, three other channels that YouTubeTV dropped.

Sure, DirecTV is a little more expensive, but we switched internet plans (cable to fiber) and the savings there offsets the higher cost.

I've been doing some cursory reading of this whole thing and I can't figure out if ESPN+ is going to be under this new umbrella, or if they will do away with the Disney bundle and just have everything rolled into one. I have the Disney bundle and between that and DirecTV, that's all we need.

Apropos of nothing, I wish that someday soon we will have the ability to access UK and Irish live sports. I would love to see hurling, Gaelic football, and the lower tier soccer (football?) matches from those tiny 500-seat stadiums. I had Kodi years ago but I always felt leery logging into a .ru site to watch Dag & Red vs Tooting.

From what I read the expectation is that ESPN+ will be replaced by the new sports channel. Too early for any official details though, who knows.

Keep it locked in with Big Tiny and the Instigator here on 101.3 FM, The Sports Turducken.
