It's 5:30 in California and getting dark. One of the things I noticed about SoCal is it gets dark there at local time a lot earlier than I'm used to.

It's fairly far east in the time zone, which is the Calif.-Arizona border.

Hey, I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Why do I keep playing "Burning Down the House" in my head?

"I'm not a reporter, I just play one on TV."

Sheesh, I recently went to a FEMA PIO training for disasters. Went through a lot of "what not to do" video. Looks like the instructors will be able to update their examples.

For the win ...

So he went Jimmy Cagney in "White Heat"/Bogie in "High Sierra." Amazing how often real life plays out like my American Studies courses in college.
