My brother brought this up to me the other day about bands that would play in his own private level of heck, and I thought I would put here. Basically, five bands you hate from genres you normally like. So Motorhead fans, don't say Ice Cube and vice versa.

Reo Speedwagon
Journey
Foreigner
Billy Joel
Bad Company

I concur with REO Speedwagon and have no qualms with Journey or Foreigner being on anyone's list, but Billy Joel and Bad Company are guilty pleasures.

Since that really seemed to be a 60s/70s rock-pop list, I'll stick with that theme and go with:

The Doors
The Eagles
The Moody Blues
Jefferson Starship
Jethro Tull

If I can have a sixth, I'll add Toto.

The Eagles are real close on mine...however, I like James Dean and Old 55.

and yeah, Toto is bad.

I am kinda all over the map with my musical taste, but I'll play along:
Bob Seger
John Mellencamp
Simple Plan
Nickelback
Creed

Yeah, I can't keep it to one genre.

The Eagles
Nickelback
Dave Matthews Band
Jack Johnson
Animal Collective

It's like you sat there and said "How can I rip out BYH's heart, stomp on it, eat it and then taunt him with the remains as he lays there gasping his final gasps."

Damn. Some of you guys are brutal. There's some good stuff on here.

Mine:
Whitney Houston
Culture Clash
Eurythmics
Romeo Void
Enimem

See, part of that doesn't strike me as being in the spirit of the original post (Culture Clash, Romeo Void). It's supposed to be bands that are semi-credible only. I mean, I could make a list like:

Ricky Martin
Right Said Fred
Hanson
The Bay City Rollers
Frankie Goes To Hollywood

But there is no sport in that.

Journey
REO Speedwagon
Boston
Styx
Fleetwood Mac (Stevie Nicks-Lindsey Buckingham incarnation)
