OK, after actually reading this, I'm still not exactly sure what's going on.

Among the many things I did not learn is what exactly these "pink slime" outfit does, the definition of pink slime and why it's an issue or the plans for this company moving forward.

In other words, all the things that we would have needed for this to be a story of consequence. Which is a bummer, because I love any opportunity to rip Gannett for being terrible.
