Go fast, turn left (and also right): The 2025 Running Motorsports Thread

Circuit breaker knocked out the feed in the middle of the IndyCar race at Thermal. About 15 minutes were lost. Derp. IndyCar fans wigged out because Fox switched to the NASCAR race. I mean ... what the fork else were they supposed to do?

Hate the class war ethos of racing at Thermal, a private track for the richest dickweeds, but the track was better than I expected with a really good dice between eventual winner Alex Palou and Christian "I Look Like The Love Baby Of Christian Bale and Henry Lee Summer" Lundgaard late in the race.

I get that IndyCar isn't in a great spot to pick and choose where they race… but they need to stop with Thermal. A half-sold subdivision of second homes for multimillionaires, attracting a crowd of dozens. And that track looks like ass. Could they at least rake the dirt?

Fox ran the IndyCar and NASCAR Cup races simultaneously. With a new property (IndyCar), not sure why they'd want to do that. Though if they're going to do it, a shirt track like Thermal is the time to do it.
