Channel 6 Milwaukee circa 1977 featuring Albert the Alley Cat!

Channel 5 Cleveland circa 1975, this might as well be an Anchorman outtake.

Hello Milwaukee ...

... hello Milwaukee.

That spot will haunt my dreams. And I was telling Z-Man that I always thought the horse riding bit was bullshirt. Where the heck would they ride horses in Milwaukee? Through forking Washington Park?

Any SoCalians, especially Long Beach folks, will remember these:

Is he saying "Go See Cal" or "Pussy Cow"?

I grew up watching this shiz. What memories.

Hello Indiana?

... hello Indiana?

Jack ass Hoosiers stealing our shirt!*

It's a good thing I didn't move to Indiana until '86. Indiana circa '80 makes me want to commit suicide. Though I do like the shot of the dude taking a big huge puff off that funky glass bong in the middle of the ad.**

* I'm sure this spot was used by whatever stations were owned by whatever company it was.
** I'm aware he's blowing glass. Blowing glass ... I know when I think of Indiana, I think of blowing glass. Or stuff that blows. :D (kidding, kidding, KIDDING!)

Love the '80s stuff from the local affiliates in the A-T-L, the television of my youth...

I present to you Rebecca DeMornay's dad, the one and only, infamous, Wally George.

Man, I loved this show. WAL-LY! WAL-LY!

KDOC Channel 56. (This clip is actually interesting about 2/3 way through when they start talkin' Reagan and Bush and Kissinger).

How that guy didn't get eaten is beyond me.

Definitely Pussy Cow.
