Asking that in a press conference setting is ridiculous.

Didn't know it was in a press conference setting.

I'm just not sure recognizing the existence of sex in relationships between married adults is jaw-dropping or awful.

I just feel like a in a profile, with a coach I was comfortable with, I might get a better response from jokingly asking "How do you even have time to have sex?" than "So with your two busy schedules, how difficult is it to find time together."

The latter I'm going to get a straight, boring canned answer. The first one might make them laugh and give me something.

But, yes, it would need to be with a coach I'd worked with and had a rapport and definitely not in a press conference setting.

I've been doing this 26+ years, and I've never had a relationship with a female coach where I felt comfortable enough to ask a question like that. A male coach? I wouldn't consider it then either. It's highly offensive and disrespectful.

If you have a rapport that you think allows you down that road, you're too close to your subject.

The bottom line is, it's none of your business and it's sure as heck none of the public's business when they had sex. Can't believe I'm having this discussion.

I'd advise never asking it myself, but any great quote you get from that question should be paired with the phrasing of the question for context.

"When asked how they found time for sex ..."

For questions as unconventional as that, you shouldn't let readers assume she responded to a normal situation.
