He was on a show in Boston last year doing promotion for a local gig. The host asked him how long he'd been sober this time around. It was something like 40 days.

Hope he gets better. He is a salt of the earth NJ guy with a huge heart. Have a buddy who grew up with him, Artie mentioned him when he had the show with Jon Ritchie. My buddy said Artie never changed, same good natured guy he played he baseball with.
