The guy with the bowtie was really good, and so was the woman. She doomed herself with an incredibly timid Daily Double bet, when she was $10,000+ behind the bowtie guy.

That DD bet was so bad because it did nothing to improve her position and the only impact on the game would have been if she got it wrong it might have been a runaway.
