Is the greatest team ever playing right now?

Check out Bud Wilkinson's Oklahoma football teams of the late '40s throughout the '50s. Separate winning streaks of 31 and 47 games.

So who's doing the story on the one team that beat them?

it's not that great of a story -- they lost 4-3 to Baylor in non-conference action at Baylor's Tournament in the middle of February. Then they turned around and didn't allow a run in three wins in Big 12 play

It's not some rando program that makes you go, how the heck did they lose to them?

North Carolina women's soccer worth a mention.
Over time, the most impressive dynasty.
They had several unbeaten and untied seasons. Many of them came when relatively few schools were fielding teams. The talent was concentrated in one place. Credit to UNC for investing.
This OU softball thing is different. A lot of schools are investing. Yet look at the roster. The vast majority of the players are from California. A few from Arizona. Very few from Texas. They're getting kids to move from the beach to the middle of barren, flat Oklahoma. Very impressive.

USA Softball is headquartered in OKC, as is the holy grail stadium for the sport. I imagine there's got to be an infrastructure of high level private coaches floating around the metro, sort of like all the NASCAR talent migrating to the outskirts of Charlotte. Even Okie Lite is a consistent Top 10 team in the shadow of Boomer Sooner.

I don't know where I'd kick her, but I would like to kick the author of this tweet somewhere.

Always preferred the javelin or the shot put. Sorry.

We used to have javelin-catching competitions at the end of track practice, which should tell you all you need to know about my school and my spear-chucking teammates.
