I'm sure Doc Jensen will do 15 pages on Kate's outfit change at the church alone. And I doubt I was the only one who thought maybe Linus wired the church with C4.
But the thing that disappointed me the most was the way they ended it with Vincent coming to Jack and Jack closing his eye - a total reverse of the opening scene of the series - complete with shoe in the tree. I understand the "full circle" thing, but I thought it was a bit cliche for a show like Lost. Still glad I watched all six years, and even more glad I watched on DVR the way they loaded it up with ads.
I loved that scene. And it was a perfect send-off for a man who coined the phrase, "If we don't live together, we're gonna die alone." Jack didn't die alone.
I think for the amounts of coincidence, or fate, or whatever you want to call it, brought by this show, that having Vincent there for Jack's death perfectly fit that theme.
Did anyone else notice the painted glass windows in the room with Christian and Jack? Six symbols of different religions.
Reading that quote, I so thought Ben was going to blow up the church, also. But overall, this was a decent end to a great series.
Plus, I'm not a fan of the shows that wrap up everything in a nice little bow. That's not life.
This show still left me with some questions. Based on this long-ass thread, it left everyone with some questions.
That's a quality ending in my book.
