But, let's supposed I did. What's your point?

Everyone knows academics don't work. They sit around their immaculate offices while smoking pipes, and fostering intellectual discussions among eager students. That's not work.
 
Just curious, but what is a 16-year-old doing taking classes at a community college?

I don't want to go back and read it again, or I'd quote directly from the article. It said she was eager to grow up and move out, so she dropped out of high school as a sophomore, easily passed a GED test and enrolled at the community college.
 
And let me echo others; that was a fantastic piece of journalism. That deserves a Pulitzer.
 
Her mother seriously needs help in caring for her. She should look into different respite services. Physically and emotionally, she can't do it by herself.
