Masters Running Thread

Those were two wonderful shots into 18. Snedeker hits it to 5 feet from the fairway, then Immelman hits it to 2 from the rough second cut.

You've got to love the way both these guys played, especially Snedeker, who bogeyed his way around Amen Corner, then birdies 14 and 15 coming out. And any birdies on 18 are well-earned.

I'm not so sure these guys shrivel up if faced with a Tiger push tomorrow, Snedeker especially. I think he's got a little bulldog in 'im.

I feel like -8 is a winner tomorrow. The course is going to be tough to move around and a lot of guys are going to struggle on those greens.

Mickelson breaks down like Yugo, was anyone surprised?

Yeah, Mickelson's a real choker at Augusta, it's not like he's won it twice in the last four years or anything.

For a playoff, Woods must go 6 lower than Immelman, plus 4 lower than Snedeker, plus 2 lower than Flesch and Casey. That means even a 68 won't cut it unless all 4 play poorly, which is unlikely. Can happen, but Woods needs a very low round.
Mickelson never got over hitting the flagstick on 8.

I think 9-under might do it, and I'm predicting Casey as your winner.

If you remove all the words from MG's post, you get the number of the Templar Castle in Augusta.

You add the numbers my team in the Masters pool shot today, you get the distance to Neptune as well.

As opposed to uran .... ah, never mind.

I think Immelman wins this thing. The mashive break on 15 might be his karma.

10 under wins it. Which means Tiger needs 67 to get into a playoff.

The good news for him is he only has four guys in front of him.

But he needs to make some putts. Not his week.

I think it'll come down to Immelman and Casey.

I think that Tiger is still somewhat diminished by no majors won from off the pace.

I find it to be just as amazing a stat as his having won all of them he has had at least a share of the lead in after 54 holes.
