So the moral/ethical/practical upshot here is what exactly?
That having spent so much of our time deifying him, we're angry that he undermined all our hard work?
That 23-year-old American males do stupid things?
That he wasn't arrested?
That he cost himself money?
That there's an absolute hypocrisy in the creation of every sports hero in every age?
That he disappointed the public? (Think of the children!)
That our heroes must never be allowed to fail us?
