Yeah, Ted Williams' HOF speech was pretty much universally credited as the main impetus in kicking open the HOF doors to Paige and Gibson, and then the others. Previous to that, there had been talk of opening a small side exhibit in Cooperstown where the Negro Leagues would be "mentioned."
