NFL limiting sideline access?

12 seems a bit much, but considering the game and the size of the field - just one is insane. Unless the NFL is going to now offer "supplementary" photo coverage with its own staff photographers - for a price of course.

Seems at least two would be a minimum, one on each end. Limiting to just one is crazy.

The Browns did this years ago IIRC. I think only the print outlets that traveled to every road game were credentialed for home games (which was basically the Beacon Journal and PD).

Not sure how it works - but if the result is phtographers running up and down the sidelines on kicks and punts to take new spots with all of their gear - yeah...that's almost as bad as making them park in a spot and shoot when the action is 80 yards away.

"We have decided to limit outlets to one reporter per game. Almost all of the existing press area will be converted to another luxury suite."

(probably)

"This week's Dallas Cowboys cheerleader feature is Mandy ..."

Shadows of a man,
a face through a window
cryin' in the night,
the night goes into

Morning just another day;
happy people pass my way.
Looking in their eyes,
I see a memory I never realized ...
