NFL Week 13 -- Suddenly There Came A Tapping

I think Caleb Williams will be a very good quarterback. He has moments of brilliance that make you understand why a team would take him first overall.

He was also the third best QB in the Pac 12 last year, and I wouldn't argue with putting him fourth. The tools are absolutely there. He's not a sure thing or a generational talent, but if I'm the Bears I'm comfortable building around him.

I keep trying to give Caleb Williams the benefit of the doubt. I say his supporting cast is mediocre at best. I say the draft experts had to see greatness in him.

But it's hard to justify all that right now.
One of life's mysteries for me is why NFL GM's continue to think QBs from quality programs (say, USC) who underperformed in college will suddenly be winners in the league.

Is there a different Bears game you guys are watching?

Glad the Bears made a game of it, just for entertainment value. Since the next one is blah-fest.

Night game looks like a pretty good one.

Way to use a timeout you probably need to stop the clock instead of taking the two-yard penalty for delay of game
