NFL Week 13 -- What About Love?

Is it just me, or is the quality of play deteriorating in the NFL? Teams still in playoff contention look like crud. It's not even about being "good" but looking like you've spent a couple of practices together (and I realize that with some teams and their QBs, the answer is no) - but I do think the quality of the play is no better than the quality of officiating.

No one likes coaches but what if the coordinators have become that much more advanced over the past decade? Many seem to have an answer for every new wrinkle that emerges in the NFL. Give them a few weeks and they'll solve whatever the new fad is.

That's the only answer I've really got. We have so many QB camps now so players can learn at a younger age. HS quarterbacks have never been better but, as the coaches get sharper and keep evolving, maybe that really reveals itself at the NFL level.

The Jaguars have a better chance at winning this game with Bobby Beathard playing qb than CJ Beathard.

What on earth?
3 plays to get 20 yards…3-yard dump and then a dump to the TE
Gracious.

Might be smart to abstain from this one given what I've seen ...

Tell me I wouldn't give Jake Browning the keys to the car before, say, Kenny Pickett.

Maybe, or maybe it's just one magical night. He didn't look good at all last week against the Steelers. He threw one ugly interception and had another dropped. His yardage looks decent due to a screen that broke for a big play and a tipped ball that somehow made it to Chase for about 40 yards.

Football is weird.
