The NFL hasn't F'd us with a late slate of 3, or 2 games. Please let this continue.

Jags-Bengals shouldn't be allowed out the door at Underwriters Laboratories. I continue to think Thursday Night Football is some kind of field test of torture techniques.

Seattle-SF is always a good game but I kind of wish I could see Arizona-Rams. That will show if the Cardinals are actually for real.

If you had Julio Jones not making it past 3 games, I invite you to join me at the payout window.

The only thing less surprising is that Bud Dupree and the Titans first round draft pick are out already too.

Rock Reed was the perfect name for some sports-related fiction character.

Rock Reed should have been Gil Thorp's coaching arch-nemesis: the guy coaching Cap City Prep who Milford always had to beat in the state semifinals.

Been a long time for us Bengals fans to see the team playing with a winning record more than one week into a season. Jacksonville is a trap game the size of the Bermuda Triangle. They'll win but I wouldn't touch that -7.5 with any folding money.

Love Rock's hometown.
