NFL Week 8 thread -- Pack it all on Mule Wilson

Where's the Union to file a Grievance? It's only one allegation and the judicial process hasn't played out. Watson gets paid and remains on the team and there are 22 allegations of crimes against him.
Donte Stallworth didn't even serve 30 days for killing a Hispanic.

You can always cut a player if you pay them what they are owed.

Their information gathering consisted of reading the statement released by the police.

Possibly. It is also possible that they spoke with him. We know someone died. We know he was in the accident. If he really was impaired, that's more than enough to make a decision.

I wonder if people would prefer we go the Leonard Little route. The guy drove under the influence and got into an accident that killed a woman. He was suspended eight games by the league, but then resumed his career with the Rams. He made his apologies and if I remember correctly, his agent told us all that Leonard was devastated by what he had done. Then about six years later, still during his career, he was arrested again for driving while intoxicated. By then he had become a very good pass rusher, so of course, there were no consequences from the Rams or the league.

But I believe the family has agreed to sell. Is that correct? I consider the family squabbling a normal part of the sales process.

And do you know why was Brittany Bowlen chosen as the successor rather than one of her four full siblings. I understand why the two older half-siblings were not considered.

Once the court case got resolved over the summer, yeah, it's all but a certainty they will sell. Brittany was chosen by the three-person trust because they felt she had the best chops to run things.

And having been an executor of a trust (obviously not of this size), I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes with several people all with different agendas trying to get what they want. We had six -- again, all with different agendas -- but we were able to get through it all. But it was very stressful. Something like that with a possible $4 billion price tag? Unimaginable.

God you're a forking moron.

The Rodgers story is fascinating. What happens if Love plays well? What happens if he craps the bed? Has Rodgers tried healing crystals? Ginko-baloba? Kratom? Or even a Kombucha colonic?

Since when did they make the Jets in charge of the NFL vaccine regulation enforcement?
