Weirdly enough, the Texans can just about salt the AFC South away this week if they beat the Colts. Two games up with a season sweep in hand if it happens.

Thursday night
Minnesota (-3/48) at L.A. Rams, 815, PRIME

Sunday early
Arizona at Miami (-3/46.5), FOX
Atlanta (-2.5/46) at Tampa Bay, FOX
Baltimore (-9/44.5) at Cleveland, CBS
Green Bay (-4.5/49.5) at Jacksonville, FOX
Indianapolis at Houston (-5.5/46), CBS
N.Y. Jets (-7/41.5) at New England, CBS
Philadelphia at Cincinnati (-2.5/48), CBS
Tennessee at Detroit (-11/45.5), FOX

Sunday late
Buffalo (-3/47) at Seattle, FOX
New Orleans at L.A. Chargers (-7.5/40), FOX
Carolina at Denver (-9/43.5), CBS
Chicago (-1.5/43.5) at Washington, CBS
Kansas City (-10/41.5) at Las Vegas, CBS

Sunday night
Dallas at San Francisco (-4.5/46.5), NBC

Monday night
N.Y. Giants at Pittsburgh (-6.5/36.5), ABC

Well, that makes a fantasy decision for me -- I'm starting the Denver defense (I know, no one etc.)!

Or the Panthers are so forking awful it doesn't matter who the QB is, so might as well play the young guy and see if five weeks on the bench solved any issues.

I'd say Sean Payton is living right when he gets the freefalling Raiders, a Saints team with more wounded than a regiment on D-Day, and the Panthers in three out of four games. But the next two after this are on the road against the Ravens and Chiefs, so it'll be a reality check soon enough.
