Dewaine Buice (great story about him; sat at his table at this MLB golf tournament we played in a couple months ago. He stumbled into being one of the original investors of Upper Deck, now he's worth something north of $20 million, yet looks like a homeless guy).

Ben McDonald
Bob Milacki
Craig Worthington (take that, Leo Gomez)
Tim Hulett
Glenn Davis
Luis Mercedes
and.......JJ Bautista

Yes, I grew up in Baltimore. Orioles Magic, Come to Birdland, the '89 'Why Not?' Orioles, I remember them all. God bless junkballin' Jeff Ballard.

That's an amazing story. Didn't he know one of the founders of the company or something?

Stepped in shirt, smells like a rose.

No, far more weird than that.

IIRC, he was looking for this Chinese restaurant in this strip center in Carlsbad or somewhere around there. Place wasn't there anymore and he walks into this card shop. Starts talking to the guys there and they tell him they're starting this card company and need someone with ties to the MLBPA to get the proper approvals.

Ka-CHING!
