Marichal got to 15.Juan Marichal?
Probably someone silly like a knuckleballer. One of the Niekros?
Is the NL Randy Jones of the Padres?
Only one person made the final out of a World Series and went on to lead the franchise that won the World Series in which he made the last out to another World Series title. Can you name him? (Yes, I know, not too hard to look up...)
The only AL knuckleballer I can think of was Wilbur Wood. That dude started like every third game and pitched doubleheaders. Has to be him. That's why I thought of Phil or Joe Niekro. I think in 1979 Phil led the NL in wins and losses (21-20).niekro got to 15, but to give a hint, the AL guy was a knuckleballer.
to make sure I understand: guy made the final out in a series, but at some point later was traded to that winning team and won a series with them?
I'll guess Enos Slaughter? Though, you'd be hard pressed to say he led the Yankees to a series…and I'm ashuming the Cardinals lost to the Yankees at some point in the 1940s and he made the final out.

Managed - sorry I didn't make that clear.
The last out/manager answer is Davey Johnson.
Oops, I missed the qualifier about citizenship.Brett is ninth. Not born in America, but his mom was American so he had citizenship and always claimed it.
The final two:
— Doug Weight
— Joe Pavelski
