What type of time are you looking to have?

The big clubs are all down on Richmond Street. College Street is a bit more sophisticated for nightlife (little Italy is nice). Food is everywhere...Greektown is on the Danforth...Chinatown is on Spadina...If you like live music, I'd suggest heading down to the Horseshoe Tavern at Queen and Spadina (which is also the neighborhood where you can try and pick up a 23-year-old with a blue mohawk and 16 piercings, if that's your gig...).

Of course, the Raptors will be in the NBA Final about then too

In richmond, make sure you eat at the Tobacco Company. They do a money brunch and the rest of the menu is on point.

In Toronto, hit the Madison late night for brews. It's just off Bloor st. W. I also find the Sunset Grille to have the best omelettes...ever. The location on Queen St.in the beaches gets pretty crowded, so prepare to wait.

The Maddie is nice...but youngish. It's a U of T hang-out...

I will be there for about 3-4 days, so looking for a few good places to eat, have a beer or two -- not looking for the keg stand places or the clubs really. i think i'll be staying downtown, covering the new MLS team out in Exhibition Place, if that helps at all.

I will be staying in Phoenix for a week in mid-March. I will be on the northern edge of town and may have a rental car at my disposal. Any ideas for drinking and eating are welcomed.

On Richmond ... Some good restaurants to be had on Cary Street. Lots of choices. For drinks, Penny Lane downtown is a fun old-style British pub. Nice place to get a pint of Harp and shoot some darts.

North Phoenix ... You're going to need a car at your disposal. Everything is spread out in that town. The best drinking spots in Phoenix are in old Scottsdale and downtown Tempe. Some dives hidden around in Phoenix. Underrated sandwich spot -- Uncle Sam's up on Shea and 32nd.

Pub close to BMO = Wheat Sheaf Tavern. 667 King St W. Oldest drinking establishment in T.O. And Mo Johnston shows up sometimes to meet with the Toronto FC supporter's group (which currently support an idea rather than an actual team. Talk about dedication).

If you like the footie: Scallywags, 11 St Clair Ave West. You'll have to put up with some Man U poseurs, but other than that it's a worthwhile place.

Adding this: If you are looking for a quick bite to eat after the game, there is quite a bit on Front Street. Get yourself back to Union Station and then go east if you want something a little different (C'est What is pretty good, and they often have good live music there. Spring Rolls is a pretty good Toronto chain for Thai and there are a couple locations downtown, including one east of Union on Front). Head west, towards the stadium formally known as SkyDome, for the chains.

Mid-town is another area of town you may want to check out for food/nightlife. Take the subway to Eglinton on the Young line.

The St. Lawrence Market is worth a low-key look too if you have time to kill in the morning. It's east from Union Station on Front.

Back to three bags' request on Lexington -- had a pre-game meal at Palms on Jefferson Street in Lexington tonight, pretty decent selection -- burgers, entrees, salads, sandwiches. The Southern Inn on Main Street is a little pricier, but I've heard some good things. Two coffee shops in downtown. I've filed from the Lexington Coffee Shop on Jefferson before. Nice little place. Also a Daily Grind down on Jefferson. Should be enough to keep you busy for a few days.

Heading to Atlantic City to see the alma mater play in the Atlantic 10 tournament. (Thrilling, I know). Anyhoo, anyone have any recommendations about the best casinos (specifically poker rooms/tournaments), restaurants, etc.? Staying at the Holiday Inn on Chelsea, I believe.

If this establishment still exists, hit Duke Mack's on the boardwalk for post-game brews. Also, the nearby Tropicana has got primo dining - everything from The Palm to P.F. Chang's and Starbucks, and a RiRa's Irish pub, which I highly recommend.

I read some stuff a few pages back about Nashville. Anyone know much about the Music Row area? We're staying there Friday and Saturday night. We just want to do a little shopping and bar-hopping. That's about it.

Not sure how often this thread gets hit, but I'll be traveling to <b>Missoula, MT</b> for a long weekend with the wife and dogs (March 15-18). We're thinking about taking a day to drive up to Glacier National Park, but would love some tips on things to do in and around Missoula for the other two days we'll be there. Any suggestions are welcome!
