RIP Peter Marshall

And over on The Gong Show, same goes for Jaye P. Morgan. Turns out she was pretty big as a singer in the 1950s, and she did a lot of TV work into the early '60s. Even had her own variety show in 1956.

And then, of course, her famous final scene. From Wiki: From 1976 to 1978, Morgan was a regular panelist on The Gong Show, in which she achieved notoriety for flashing her breasts while on live camera during a Gene, Gene, the Dancing Machine skit. NBC banned her from the program for the flashing incident. The 1980 "behind-the-scenes" The Gong Show Movie features the breast-flashing footage.

Jaye P. is still around. And she's 92.

A search of Reddit found the flashing clip, and it was about as long as Janet Jackson's Super Bowl flash.

Last year we went to a nursing home to visit the mother of one of my wife's friends, who was in very poor health (she died just a few weeks later). For awhile we were waiting in a lounge area with some of the residents and they had the 1970s Match Game playing on the TV. It was just as hilarious as I remembered.

I don't know if this is still the case but Prime Video was showing old gameshows, including the Match Game, for free recently.

Yes, on their Freevee. Can't tell you how many times I've sat down to watch something, can't find anything I have to watch, and end up on Match Game.

You can easily find Match Game shows on YouTube and, yes, it holds up. So damn good.

Classic Match Game. (And, despite the title of the clip, no nipples were to be seen, unlike Jaye P. Morgan's on the Gong Show.)
