Good call on Cullen, the master. I gotta say Monty Hall over Eubanks, though.

"Let's Make a Deal" was basically a forerunner to "The Price is Right,"
and Monty was as god-like a host back in his days as Barker became later.
Both of them were outstanding at working frenzied crowds of desperate yahoos.

At least that game had celebrity interactions that Marshall could play against. Sort of the same with Rayburn and Match Game.

Games like Press Your Luck and Card Sharks had to have been excruciating to emcee.

Little known fact in general, but maybe not so much here: Monty once was an analyst on New York Rangers broadcasts. At least I read that somewhere.

What the heck did Brett Somers do besides Match Game? Not trying to be disrespectful but never, ever, seen her in anything else.
