Detroit may not lose another game in these playoffs. They looked scary good tonight. As well as Pittsburgh is playing the Wings could run them right out of the building in four.

Doubt that. I'm still not sold on Osgood to shut down the Penguins, who finally have Marc-Andre Fleury like the No. 1 overall pick he was five years ago. Not saying the Pens would win the series, but I can't see how that series would be a sweep.

It's Marc-Andre Fleury. Not Marc Andre-Fleury.

Point stands, my misplaced dash aside. I should have known better ... it is written on the back of his jersey.

Wings-Pens probably the best Finals the NHL could hope for. An original Big Six team vs. Sid the Kid.
Absolutely agree, although neither series is over yet.

Should help the ratings down there.

It'll be The Kids versus Grizzled Old Veterans aka A Whole Bunch of Swedish Guys.

Amazing -- the world's fastest game looks crappy on TV.

Seriously, how about deploying the wire-mounted camera that's used in NFL broadcasts? Or a helmet camera on the officials?

Or...a larger ice surface, so we can see the plays develop?

Nah, that's an idiotic suggestion...

I hope you're seriously kidding.

Yes, because Chris Osgood has no idea what it's like to be in a Stanley Cup final.

I just bet he can't handle it. [/rollingeyes]

In a recent column, Larry Brooks argued that American hockey broadcasts should implement the Canadian and MSG shoots games.
