Running bowl thread

Oh, I forgot, this is the only message board on the planet.

No, but you only seem to be trolling SEC teams' boards, for some ridiculous reason.

Jeebus, I could go to a USC board and find someone defending that conference's terrible performance.

So bleeping what? What the fork point are you trying to make?

That fans of SEC teams are somehow "different" than others? More detached from reality? Horseshirt. An LSU message board will defend LSU and the SEC. An Ohio State board will defend Ohio State and the Big Ten. You remind me of the political dipshirts that troll the opponents' boards so they can find the most extreme examples to come back with and use as a "typical" Democrat (or Republican) point of view.

Nothing new here.

Please. Move. Along.

I just went through every post from Jan. 1 on this thread. The only thing ANYBODY said about LSU was that the personal foul at the end was bullshirt and even that poster said it wouldn't have mattered because Miles would have forked it up, anyway.

So, be so kind as to point me in the direction of the SEC folks complaining about the field conditions and I'll admit you were right and STFU. Otherwise, I'll just assume you're talking out of your ass again.

Oh, I forgot, this is the only message board on the planet. But thanks for reminding me because I just went to get a little refresher course from some of the SEC fanboy sites and forgot about the refs conspiracy that cost LSU on the last drive as well.

From the LSU message board, a UGA fan whining about refs helping Big Ten teams against Auburn and LSU.....

And this is just one quick example, there are many, many others I could point out without even working hard to find them.

In other words, YOU STFU and admit you are wrong....

Jesus. Your only example is a fanboy site? You're the best. Don't ever change.

for the record - I think the XM thing meant that the MAC hadn't won a bowl game this year - they were 0-4 going into tonight's game.

On the XM Radio broadcast earlier it was noted that a MAC team has never won a bowl.
Central Michigan (-3 1/2) trails Troy State 31-26 late in the fourth quarter at Mobile in the GMAC Bowl.
Can't believe MAC teams have never won a bowl.

Those XM pioneered broadcasts with digitally simulated play by play guys are amazing, but some of their facts are off sometimes.

And while we are picking at nits........ what does it really say about the relative strength of the conference that the "very mediocre" Arkansas team - the team that needed juggernaut East Carolina to miss, what was it, three game-winning field goals in order to survive -- beat bowl teams South Carolina and Auburn and should have beaten both LSU and Florida (and would have beaten Florida had it not been for some creative SEC officiating as well as Arkansas's kicker sucking), but I know, I know, THOSE GAMES DON'T COUNT BECAUSE THAT'S DIFFERENT!!!!! ::)

Zag, you need to stop arguing with the voices in your head.

Considering the Big 12 has more Big 8 members than SWC, I wouldn't mind seeing the Big 12 thrown to the Orange, it would be nice to see Nebraska or Oklahoma in that game every now and then, or make the Orange the Bowl for the higher ranked of the ACC or Big East and send the other conference to the Sugar.

That will only happen when the Big 12 gets some competent leadership.

In other words, it won't.

The problem with the Orange is that only two ACC schools' fans will travel heavily for football - Va. Tech and Clemson. So if a Wake or a Maryland sneaks in to that game, there's trouble.

On Cincinnati, I pretty much agree with Zagoshe here. Look, Florida was the superior team. You only had to watch Cincinnati's defense in games against Pitt and UConn, etc., to know that. But Cincinnati was so wildly undisciplined in that game. Their coach leaves. Their interim coach is on the way out. The players have already gone on public tirades about the coaching situation. Does anyone seriously think Quinn had any control of that team before this game? If Kelly's still around, Florida still wins by two touchdowns. The Gators were the better team, and we all knew that. But at least Cincy matches a few scores and keeps it interesting for a while. With Kelly gone, that game was over the second it kicked off.

Cincy should not have played game in their practice uniforms. They looked a lot more intimidating during the season in black.

Just read the astounding stat that Texas only graduates 37% of their African American football players. Overall rate is 49% which is still very low.
