Running Grammys thread

I was just informed the Grammys are not being shown live in other time zones. What's next, tape-delayed (non-Olympics) sports broadcasts? :o

This is not unique to this year.

This should win the Grammy next year for Best Rap Song:

So much better uncensored. Hearing T-Pain doing "motherf***er" in the background will make me laugh for quite some time.

The acoustics are absolute shirt.

They need to be absolutely slammed over that. It is horrendous. They can't get the most important thing right. It is totally ruining the show.

I think part of the problem is a lot of these kids don't know how to sing. Instead, they just yell their lyrics.

And Katy Perry proves that the era of bimbos who can sing and dance is over.

It ain't kids. It's U2, it's Coldplay, and it's Katy Perry, who has pipes. They all sound awful because of the acoustics.

I thought she was lip-synching. She sucks ass, her vocals are so Pro-Tooled out it's pathetic. Give me Neko Case every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

And Dave Grohl has played with some big artists, but even he has to be geeked about playing drum with Sir Paul. I was hoping for more than one song though.

Dave Grohl looked like a kid at Christmas.

Ringo > Dave Grohl

that was crap

the whole thing was crap

i can't believe people listen to any of this shirt

I didn't watch but, for Dave Grohl, anything would be better than playing with Tenacious D.

I was just thrilled to see the list of winners this morning and see that the two best songs of the past year, "Letter To Me" by Brad Paisley and "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay, both got some love from the judges. It's always nice when awards go where they are deserved. :) :)

Would have liked to see "Viva" get record of the year, but it got song and it looks like the wealth got spread.

As for Chris Brown? No truth to the rumor he's writing a book called "How To fork Up Your Career In One Easy Lesson", is there?
