The only good thing about Dallas is that it's near Fort Worth.

And it has Campisi's pizza. The restaurant has a connection to MLB history. Not good history, but still.

The existence of my Tiny Human renders my ability to join peeps east of the Rockies rather difficult. So if some were hoping to give me an Owen Wilson nose, I really apologize.

But if any of the DC people want to have mercy on me in about a week and a half, I'll be the tired looking teacher herding a group of students around the sights. I'll accept water or coffee or a hearty pat on the back.

I seem to remember that the last serious SJ outing was proposed for Dallas but was scotched when Yawn promised to attend.

Well, there was the outing where a former member wanted credit card info up front to buy the tickets. People were … hesitant.

There was Atlanta in 2012, hosted by a former member, and then NYC (Mets) in 2013.

Of the options available, I voted do DC/Baltimore due to the chance of seeing multiple series in one weekend.

Unfortunately, a quick scrub of the schedules shows the Os and Nats share only one home date between July and September -- a Thursday.
