I won one of life's lotteries and got to sit in the best suite at the 49er game, unlimited top shelf cocktails, fresh seafood and suishi, and 50 yd view but best was getting to sit next to an all-timer Jesse Sapolu, 6th rd pick to two time All-Pro; he shred two great thoughts:
1. Holding is bad footwork, even in 80s you could grab in framework, no way you could block like old days with elbows out, but you have to move your feet to stay within framework;
2. When I asked about '89 SB last drive and Joe saying "there's Hohn Candy" he said that's what they wanted to hear, that Joe Cool was there. (He also said they had done it so many times, they knew they would execute)
Great guy.
Anyone else have a similar experience?
