I agree about the younger crowd not being aware of Earnhardt enough to buy merchandise of him. The other issue with the older crowd is my hunch is many of them are like me: they suspect Teresa will be getting a cut, which is a deal breaker. I still have some old Earnhardt shirts, a couple of which I wear twice a year. I bought a couple of the retro Earnhardt Wrangler shirts that came out when Jr. drove the Wrangler Busch (er, Xfinity) car once, but nothing since then.I can't wait to see the revenue on the Dale merch. The older crowd who remembers him doesn't watch or like NASCAR today, for the most part. The younger crowd that might be more in tune with Dale Jr, or anyone after him, likely doesn't remember Dale or much other than "a legend who died in a race somewhere." I can't see them buying a lot of Senior merch.
Maybe it'll sell. Who knows.
