Our 16-year-old is in AP Government and Politics this year. During parent-teacher meetings, I said something about how it's got to be interesting teaching that class with all this stuff going on. The teacher said "Yeah, there have been a few times I had to come in and say 'Remember what we were talking about last week? Well, disregard that now.'"

100% this. I have literally gotten a news alert on my watch and said "Remember what we were talking about an hour ago...."

I'm already noticing higher prices for beer - micros brewed locally. Gas prices are 20c a gallon more than they were when he was sworn in. You are seeing layoffs creeping in here and there.

Small craft breweries are gonna get hit hard by tariffs on grains and tariffs on aluminum for cans. They're gonna have to drastically raise prices or go out of business. Thanks to one dementia-ridden, rapist, traitor piece of shirt.

Inflation is going up and consumers are curbing spending. The market took another shirt today. All avoidable. But nope.

Higher gas prices, just in time for even higher prices due to refiners switching to the summer blend.

Gas prices here have bounced around a little this year but generally stayed within the same 40-cent range. Been a long time since it went above $2.899 and that never lasts more than a couple of days.
