He's also trashed Arnold Palmer. Who trashes Arnie!?!

A fat moron who probably can't have a vigorous sex life without blue pills and a stack of $100 bills, perhaps?

Man, there's something I do NOT want to think about.

I'll second that... the thought of a no-talent ass clown being capable of carrying around a stack of $100 bills is hard to swallow...

Well, guess what, kids?
Retribution is at hand....bet the GM got in deep doo-doo for not doing anything before, you can bet this came from ESPN corporate.

Re: The end of Mark Madden? UPDATED: He's suspended

Either corporate realized what happened or some advertisers checked in after the story hit the papers. Or both.

Re: The end of Mark Madden? UPDATED: He's suspended

Why doesn't this happen more often? I mean, really, why does shock jock sports talk radio make economic sense? A customer lost is often a customer lost forever. A customer gained often leaves with the next breath of wind, to wit, a major shirtstorm caused by dumbass thing shock radio host said.

Re: The end of Mark Madden? UPDATED: He's suspended

I never listen to sports radio, but when incidents like this happen, I always wonder who advertises on these shirtfests.

Who wants their message mixed in with assassination wishes?

Re: The end of Mark Madden? UPDATED: He's suspended

That's the thing about Madden...he may have a decent share in ratings, but he brings in no money to his station. No one will touch him.

And that is the issue. Ratings don't mean squat unless you turn them into revenue.

That pitch still hasn't landed - and probably won't for a while.

I got an email from a friend of mine tonight who is very close to the situation.
GM will be looking for a new job tomorrow, Madden ain't far behind.
