Time to build an ark!

As I was driving through western Maryland a few weeks ago I drove past a church that had a huge sign proudly proclaiming they were re-building Noah's Ark. It was rather startling, especially since it was in the mountains and if it was ever needed, well, it'd be because the ocean had moved about 200 miles west. I'm sure it'd make for a heck of a magazine article.

Speaking of cheap wings, I'm starving. It's pouring here too. I'm sick of this shirt.

Given the serious droughts throughout the country, I don't think anyone should be complaining about some rain.

We really need the rain here. Thankfully it rained for about 45 minutes earlier this afternoon and is raining right now. This is the worst drought we've had in a good long time.

Well, West Texas is about to join in the fun. I just left a rainy Seattle and come home to a wicked line of thunderstorms rolling down the panhandle. Weather channel was saying there are 73 mph winds on the front of the storm. Should be fun tonight.

shirt, where? Odessa/Midland area, panhandly area, Abilene/San Angelo area, El Paso area or all of the above? It's clear out here right now, but god knows that can change in an instant.

And we've had more than enough rain. I think our news-side did a story on how far above average we are right now. I drove through parts of West Texas today where yards, typically nice and crispy golden this time of year, are small lakes.
