UM vs. OSU only drew a 13.4

Anybody know why this wasn't the primetime game? It would've gotten even bigger numbers then.

Ohio State already played two 8 PM games (at Texas and at Iowa), and didn't want to play a third. Probably to avoid more pregame drinking and rioting afterwards.

From E-Online's tv ratings recap for the Thanksgiving weekend:

The annual USC-Notre Dame gridiron clash was a big hit for ABC's Saturday Night Football (16th place, 14.6 million).

Seems this one eclipsed "The Mulligan of the Century" as one poster put it.

There are a ton of Notre Dame fans in the world, no doubt. Ton of Cubs fans, too. Not quite what the point is?

USC-ND was also in prime time.

Funny how Jimmy "The Troll" Olson quieted down after USC 44, Notre Dame 24 :)

Careful. This board is festering with OSU & UM fanboys. They don't like it when you use facts to spoil their diatribes.

JO, I am neither a Michigan or Ohio State fan. I just wanted to congratulate ND for getting rammed in the ass, boots style, by USC.

Seems everyone tuned in to see yet another Notre Dame coach stave off a futile effort to avoid being Pete Carroll's bench.
Fixed. All better now.

Rammed in the ass? Why do you interject your fantasies on this board?

Most of the SC fans I know stated that they were not relieved until the 3:00 mark when the onside kick was returned. Most say that the one thing they did not want to see was Brady Quinn down 6 with the ball.

Especially when Poodle had used all of his time outs and Weis stil had his loaded. SC is certainly a special team, unlike any other in the country. The fact that ND's McKnight & Grimes and the TE dropped wide open passes certainly did them in. SC is light years ahead with regard to talent, yet it's fairly evident that Weis is doing a helluva job with talent that would not start at most places.

It will be fun to watch SC crush Ohio State and deflate the Mediocre11 conference.

Huh?

So do you think USC will beat an overrated OSU, or the team that struggled to get past the mighty Irish will fall to the Buckeyes?
