Did someone dis Motley? "Home Sweet Home" forkin ruled. My first ever concert July 27 1987 Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls.

At the Anthrax/Megadeth/Slayer/Metallica show last weekend, someone had apparently hired a plane to fly overhead with the message of an upcoming Poison/Motley Crue show in the area.

'Cause, you know . . . same exact audience.

Tone Loc should get at least a mention.

Damn, I totally killed this thread.

It's probably little consolation to you but I thought that was a great post, as well as the first time Tone Loc has ever been mentioned in an online forum.

I'll second that. "Wild Thing" kicked all sorts of ass. Tone must be washing cars or something these days.

I know he's been a voice actor (the only thing I remember him from is Ferngully). Granted he's no Honeymoon Suite, but still...

DON'T GET ME GOING ON LIVING COLOUR!!!!!!!!111111

I saw them open for the Stones on the Stones' "Steel Wheels" tour back in 89 in the Gator Bowl. Still the best show I've ever seen.

'Finish What You Started' is the only good song from the Hagar era, and, wow, is it good. Eddie's work with that spanky single-coil is f#####g great.
I love the guitar on the song.

Doesn't Sammy actually play the twangy rhythm guitar on "FWYS?"

When they added Hagar I thought it would allow them to really expand their sound, since Hagar had been a pretty decent guitarist in his own right. Not to make them the New Yardbirds or anything, but at least Eddie wouldn't have to play/overdub everything himself.

But as far as I am aware, Hagar pretty rarely played guitar in VH.

That Slick is no joke, but you can get killed walking your doggie.
