What are your "Rules for Life?"

One rule I sorta live by: The doctor can suggest, but it's up to me to determine my level of care. The doctor can't demand anything.
 
In a men's room, you're generally better off in the second stall from the door than the first.

Years ago I worked for a hard ass boss who I was convinced was going to rip me a new one for a mistake I made on a report that I couldn't correct and resend before he saw it.

Instead he told me something I have never forgotten:

"There's a reason they put erasers on pencils. People make mistakes."
