What's Santa putting under your tree?

I'd settle for a new alternator.

Oh, that's right. Santa doesn't exist. That means I have to pony up to fix my car, and then scrape together enough cash to buy Christmas presents for everyone else.

'Tis the season to prove to people how much I love them by buying them things I can't afford.

Sorry. Hopefully now that I've got that out of my system, I can find my holiday cheer.

Wife made the mistake when she first met the family three years ago of showing an interest in a relative's snow globe and wanting to stop by the Thomas Kinkade gallery in Gatlinburg.

Now every Christmas she gets snow globes and Thomas Kinkade stuff from our family.

She even got a Thomas Kinkade slow globe last year. ;D

My first polo shirt and dress pants, so I can cover Major League Baseball.

A month or two ago, my dad was talking about an old Jets varsity jacket that he used to have when he was a kid. His exact words: "Damn, I miss that thing so much, I think I'd cry if I ever got one like it again." So this Christmas, I'm getting him that jacket and two boxes of Kleenex.

Don't know, don't care.

All I know is that I get to spend Christmas with HC--the greatest woman in the world --and my three sons.

Oh, and an iPad. :)

If my parents would just wrap up money in a box, I'd be the happiest person ever for Christmas. I don't need material things. I need money. My parents are paying off my car though with some extra money they got from refinancing their house.

I took up knitting this year and that's what most of the people on my Christmas list are getting -- knit hats (which I'm really good at) and scarves. Simple, cheap and it's a good stress reliever for while I'm watching TV at night.

I like knit hats. Just sayin'

As for my kid, he'll probably go three lap dances and the rest on beer. His girlfriend is going, so maybe four lap dances.

Speaking of lap dances, I need to buy my SS gift. Can I box up a lap dance?

Make sure you poke some holes in the box first.

Thinks that's a great idea.
And, yes, I've toyed with the idea of giving this as a gag gift (so to speak) to Mrs. Batman. Not sure if she'd be amused or not, so probably not.
